Voicewright 1.0
Initial App Store release planned: 2026
A shorter path from voice to writing
- The interface, guidance, and accessibility labels are shown in Japanese for a Japanese device locale and in English for every other locale.
- On compatible devices running iOS 26 or later, Voicewright can use Apple on-device speech-recognition and writing models that are already ready in the operating system. Other devices use Voicewright compatibility models, with the active route shown in the App.
- Japanese compatibility recognition selects a standard or lower-memory model according to the device's available resources.
- On iPhone and iPad, recording closes only after audio captured before Stop has been delivered for transcription.
- Writing polish rejects a result and preserves the original text when it detects missing or changed numbers, units, negation, confirmation cues, or preferred terminology.
- The Domain and Terminology page lets you select a writing domain and store preferred spellings for names and frequently used terminology on your device.
- Share finished text directly to Notes, Mail, and other apps, in addition to automatic copying.
- On iPhone and iPad, open Voicewright from Shortcuts, a compatible Action button, or the Lock Screen. The Lock Screen entry opens the recorder and never starts recording automatically.
Premium
Premium removes the daily recording limit and supports periodic evaluation and improvement of on-device speech-recognition and writing models. Validated improvements may be delivered in App updates when available, but timing, eligible devices, and availability conditions vary and no particular update is guaranteed. Voicewright shows the size and waits for your confirmation before downloading an additional compatibility model. Apple system-model assets and updates are managed by the operating system.
Privacy
Your audio, transcripts, polished text, and history are not sent to a server operated by the developer. Model downloads and store purchase or restoration requests use the network, but do not include your audio or text. Your selected domain and custom dictionary also remain on the device and are never sent to the developer.
Always review important names, numbers, dates, and medical, legal, or financial text before use.
