Voicewright Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Voicewright (the “App”). By using the App, you agree to these Terms. The Apple Standard EULA also applies when you obtain the App from Apple's App Store.

1. Service

The App converts your speech to text and can polish that text into readable writing. Speech recognition and writing processing run on your device.

2. Free and Premium plans

  1. The Free plan includes up to 10 minutes of recording per day. The allowance resets when the local calendar date changes.
  2. Premium is an auto-renewing monthly subscription that removes the App's daily recording-time limit.
  3. The applicable App Store or Google Play price is shown before purchase.
  4. The Premium subscription also supports periodic evaluation of on-device speech-recognition and writing models and delivery of validated improvements in App updates when available. Timing, eligible devices, and availability conditions vary with evaluation results and OS support; no particular update is guaranteed. An additional Voicewright compatibility-model download shows its size and begins only after you choose to start it. Apple system-model assets and updates are managed by the operating system.

3. Renewal and cancellation

  1. Premium renews automatically unless cancelled by the deadline set by the applicable store: at least 24 hours before the end of the current period for the App Store, or by the renewal date for Google Play.
  2. Payment is charged to your App Store or Google Play account.
  3. You can open the store's subscription-management screen from the App. You may also cancel through Apple Settings or Google Play.
  4. After cancellation, Premium remains available until the end of the paid period. The developer does not provide prorated refunds; any refund rights provided by the applicable store terms or mandatory law remain unaffected.

4. Intellectual property

Rights in the App, software, writing, and design belong to the provider or their respective owners. Third-party software and model notices are available in the App.

5. Prohibited conduct

You may not use the App unlawfully or copy, modify, or reverse engineer it except where applicable law permits.

6. Accuracy and liability

  1. Speech recognition and text transformation can contain errors. Review important text before use, especially names, numbers, dates, and medical, legal, or financial content.
  2. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the provider is not responsible for loss arising from use or unavailability of the App, except in cases of intent or gross negligence.

7. Changes

These Terms may be updated when necessary. Material changes will be announced in the App when required.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. The court with jurisdiction over the provider's location has exclusive jurisdiction as the court of first instance, except where mandatory consumer-protection or other applicable law provides otherwise.
